"Papertrey December Blog Hop Challenge"

This is my entry for the Papertrey Ink's last blog hop of 2014. I used Papertrey ink's white cardstock, patterned paper from Tinsel and Tags collection, soft stone ink, silver embossing powder, In the meadow stamp set and dies. It has been a busy Christmas and I enjoyed a little me time tonight making this simple card.

Tinsel and Tags Kit Papertrey Ink

I was very lucky to get this special, limited edition Tinsel and Tags kit by Papertrey Ink  this year. It has been a pleasure to use. I made individual place settings for our Christmas table and used them to top jars of Lindt chocolates as a  little gift for all our guests. They turned out lovely. I am looking forward to setting them out next week.

The dies were also used  to make gift toppers for some of my tutors at college this year. I took a photo of the outside of the college, printed it a number of times, cut them out to back the die cuts and topped with a half of a clear plastic ornament. The tutors were delighted with them. They were so easy to make and yet were so effective.

The ribbon included in the kit is really lovely.  I thought it was just too nice to wrap presents with.  I made some ornaments with some of it. Again these are pretty easy to make by stringing together some beads and gems.
